About Ministry of Posters
Officially Unofficial.
Ministry of Posters exists to issue visual statements.
It began with bold typographic designs inspired by mid-century British poster work and the language of official notices. It has since expanded into graphic-led compositions, strong forms and modern visual pieces.
What hasn’t changed is the intent.
This is design that feels deliberate.
Structured.
Considered.
Not decorative filler.
Designed to Be Seen
Our work is created for walls that matter — living rooms, kitchens, studios, offices. Spaces that benefit from clarity and a bit of conviction.
Some designs are witty.
Some are direct.
Some are simply graphic.
All of them are made for public display.
Departments, Not Collections
Rather than trends, we organise our work into Departments.
It keeps things tidy.
British By Design
The tone is unapologetically British.
Dry where possible.
Direct where necessary.
If something sounds like a motivational Pinterest board, it doesn’t make the cut.
The Long View
We may expand beyond posters. Design travels well.
What remains constant is the approach:
Clear typography.
Strong composition.
Confident colour.
