FAQs
Clarification Notice.
The following answers cover common enquiries regarding typography posters, graphic prints, framed wall art, delivery, returns and related administrative matters.
What is Ministry of Posters?
Ministry of Posters creates typography posters and graphic prints designed in the UK. Modern wall art for people who like clean type, strong layout, and words worth framing.
What do you sell?
Typography posters, text-based prints and graphic wall art - and the occasional greeting card or notebook. Each product page shows what formats are currently authorised (print, framed print, etc.).
How do I browse the collections?
Browse by Department to find work grouped by theme, tone and administrative preference. You can also use search to find specific phrases or topics.
What sizes are available?
Most designs are offered in standard A sizes such as A5, A4, A3, A2, A1 and even A0. Available sizes are listed on each product page.
Do you sell framed prints?
Selected designs are available as framed prints. If framing is offered, you’ll see frame options on the product page. If not, then authorisation may be pending.
Are posters delivered rolled or flat?
Packaging depends on size and product type. Larger prints are typically protected in a tube; smaller items may ship flat. If anything arrives damaged, contact us promptly with evidence and you will be dealt with efficiently.
What paper and inks are used?
Specifications can vary by product and supplier. The most accurate details are shown on the individual product page at the time you order.
Are the designs created in the UK?
Yes. All Ministry of Posters designs are designed at MOP HQ in the UK.
How long does delivery take?
Dispatch and delivery estimates are shown at checkout. Timing can vary depending on size and whether the item is framed. If you have a deadline to hit, use our communication channels prior to ordering.
Do you ship internationally?
If we can ship to your destination, the available options will appear at checkout.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Online orders are immediately transmitted to our production team so changes and cancellations are rarely possible.
Do your posters make good gifts?
Yes. No further comment (which ironically is one of our best selling posters)
Do you offer trade or bulk orders?
If you need multiple prints for an office, studio or venue, contact us with quantities, sizes and deadlines and we’ll advise what’s feasible.
Can I request a custom poster or wording change?
Occasionally, depending on workload and suitability. Send a link to the product and the exact wording change you want, and we’ll confirm whether it can be approved.
Do you sell digital downloads?
If a product is offered as a digital download, it will be explicitly stated on the listing. If it isn’t stated, it isn’t a download. Current status: we don’t offer digital downloads.
Are your designs copyrighted?
Yes. Purchasing a print does not transfer reproduction rights. If you need licensing for commercial use, contact us with details of the intended use. Don’t just steal it as you may experience repercussions.
How should I care for my print?
Keep prints away from damp and direct sunlight. Handle by the edges, frame if you can, and keep them out of the reach of anyone eating crisps.
Does the Ministry have political affiliations?
The Ministry maintains strict neutrality. We regulate kerning, not governments. No policies are formed here beyond decisions relating to type size and line spacing.
